Bio:
Naudia Jones RD, CDN, holds a Bachelor’s in Nutrition Science from CUNY Brooklyn College and completed her dietetic internship at the New York Presbyterian Hospital of Columbia and Cornell. She practiced as a Staff Relief Clinical Dietitian at the NYP Brooklyn Methodist Hospital, where she also served as the outpatient dietitian in the pediatric endocrinology clinic.
Naudia is the founder of Brooklyn Nutrition Practice, a nutrition counseling service dedicated to preserving cultural identity and traditions. Naudia’s passion for providing culturally sensitive nutrition education and increasing diversity within the field has been evident throughout her career. She has led various Diversity and Inclusivity focused webinars, most recently for the New York State Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics. She has also co-authored publications exploring health disparities within different cultural enclaves of Black Immigrants.
Naudia currently serves as the co-chair of The Hunger and Environmental Nutrition Special Interest Group (HENSIG) for the Greater New York Dietetic Association. In her free time, you can find her experimenting in the kitchen and teaching urban gardening classes.
