Hi Club Members! The name question did not make it on the google form for the shirt/last club day registration. The problem is fixed, so if you have already filled out the form please fill it out again. I'm sorry for the confusion! Hey club members! Tomorrow, October 25th we will be back on schedule to Monday Club meetings. We will be meeting during free hour, starting at 12:15. Tomorrow's guest speaker is Kyle Murray! Kyle Murray is a CHALK Community Nutrition Specialist at New York Presbyterian Hospital. As a bilingual registered dietitian, he has experience as a counselor and educator in settings across New York City. Kyle’s practice is informed by a decade of experience in public health work, as well as a strong clinical counseling background in area hospitals. Inspired to enter the field by his own experiences as a Type 1 Diabetic, he works to link community and clinical resources to empower people to better manage conditions like obesity and diabetes, and improve their health outcomes. I also wanted to remind everyone that tomorrow is the last day to register for the mentorship program. Updates: Mentoring Program information

Hi Everyone! Here are some updates on the Dietetic Internship mentoring program! The sign-up for the mentorship program will close on *Monday, October 25th*. To sign up: 1. Read the attached DPD Mentoring Guidebook (you will fill out the mentoring agreement section with your mentor) 2. Fill out the google form. Please complete EVERYTHING with your information including the area of interest/concentration. *DI MENTORSHIP PROGRAM SIGN UP LINK:* https://forms.gle/Jt3gNSaa4LcrqDm36 The initial meeting will be on *Friday, November 5th.* I want to set a time for this meeting that works for the majority of the participants. When the signup closes on the 25th I will send out a poll with a couple of times on it to help figure out the best time to have the meeting. During this meeting, you will have 30 minutes to meet your mentor in a zoom breakout room. You will already know who your mentor is before this meeting. Hi Club Members! Just reminding everyone about this week's upcoming meeting. Our meeting this week is going to be held on Wednesday, October 20th at 12:15. On Monday October 18th, Dr. Fischer is holding a DICAS prep meeting for Freshman, Sophomores, and Juniors to plan ahead. Our speaker this week is Jenny Westercamp! Jenny is the founder of a program called All Access Dietetics. She founded the program in 2008 and has used her platform to help thousands of future dietitians get matched with an internship! Jenny is going to give a thirty minute presentation about personal statements. Personal statements are a huge part of the DICAS application and will help you match with your future internship.
