Hey club members,
Tomorrow, April 4th we will have our next meeting with guest speaker Adeeba
Peerzade !
Adeeba Peerzade is a graduate of Queens College with a BS in Nutrition &
Dietetics. She was also part of the QC Dietetics club during her undergrad!
Adeeba then went to graduate from the Northwell Health Dietetic Internship
with a focus in MNT. Currently, Adeeba has 7 years of experience in acute
patient care and is a full time clinical dietitian at New York Cancer &
Blood Specialists. She has expertise and focus in preventative care and
MNT/integrative wellness to improve health outcomes for patients. In our
meeting, she will be sharing her RD journey, give insight into her current
work and answer questions members have!

Also, Don't forget club nominations are due tomorrow!! If we do not get
someone for each position, Dietetics Club will not be able to resume next
semester. Please consider nominating yourselves! It is a great opportunity
to gain volunteer hours and boost your resume.
Here are the descriptions for each role:
*President:* Hosts meetings, attends budget meetings, reaches out to
speakers, plans events with other board members/clubs, and more!
*Vice President:* Can do all the things the president has mentioned
*Treasurer:* Funding and planning for events, budget meetings/proposals
*Secretary:* Creates and responds to emails, take meeting attendance,
onboards new members, tracks meeting minutes/activity
*Social Media Chair : *Designs social media posts, Website updates, helps
increase awareness of club
