1. We might have an opening for the upcoming school year for an 11th Grade Geometry teacher. We are Benjamin Franklin High School for Finance and Information Technology and are located in Cambria Heights. Candidates should send their resumes and cover letters to Carla Theodorou: ctheodorou@schools.nyc.gov<mailto:ctheodorou@schools.nyc.gov>. Thanks!? 2. MATH POSITION AT INTERNATIONAL @ LAFAYETTE The International High School at Lafayette is a small high school exclusively for recently arrived English Language Learners. Our students come from over 50 different countries and speak 26 different languages. Upon arriving at our school, students have been in the country anywhere from one day up to four years. As a result, we have a population that is extremely heterogeneous in terms of race, nationality, age, academic experience, and linguistic background and ability. We are looking for a positive correlation to join our math team! If you are a dedicated math teacher who is creative and reflective, then please consider applying to our school. Applicants must have an interest in, and/or experience with, project-based learning, performance-based assessment, and language development through content instruction. We are a content-based ESL school. All teachers are literacy teachers expected to incorporate language development within their curricula. Teachers create their own project-based, interdisciplinary curricula in conjunction with their teaching team peers. Since students are heterogeneously grouped by language ability and grade, teachers are also expected to differentiate their projects to support all learners in moving forward with language and math skills. If you are interested in applying, please send your resume, cover letter, and teaching philosophy to Principal Jon Harriman at jobs@inths.org<mailto:jobs@inths.org>and visit our website (inths.org<http://inths.org/>) for additional information about our school=
