Dear Methods Students, Thank you all for scheduling your Regents exams if needed. Please note that for all students taking exams, the exams will be given in the following order: Algebra 1 Geometry Algebra 2. So, if you need all 3 exams, they will be taken in the order above. If, for example, you need Geometry and Algebra 2 then you will take the Geometry exam first and the Algebra 2 exam second. Please let me know if you have any questions. Sincerely, Mrs. Weinman Naomi Weinman TIME2000/SEYS Queens College, CUNY | 65-30 Kissena Blvd | Queens, NY |11367 (w) 718-997-5377 | (f) 718-997-5173 TIME2000.qc.cuny.edu<https://www.qc.cuny.edu/academics/ohs/time-2000/> Donate to TIME 2000<https://urldefense.proofpoint.com/v2/url?u=http-3A__bit.ly_time2000&d=DwIFAg... > From: MathMethods <mathmethods-bounces@lists.qc.cuny.edu> On Behalf Of Naomi Weinman via MathMethods Sent: Tuesday, October 18, 2022 12:47 PM To: Methods Students (MathMethods@lists.qc.cuny.edu) <mathmethods@lists.qc.cuny.edu> Subject: [Mathmethods 0099] Regents Exams for Methods Lists Dear Methods Students, The Regents Exit Assessment has been graded and will be returned to you today. Then, you will know whether you have met the Exit Requirement for SEYS 361/561. If you did not meet the requirement (if your grade on at least one of the three sections is less than 8/10), you need to take a full exam for that course and you should keep reading for details. If your grade was 8/10 or higher on all 3 sections, this email does not apply to you except to remind you to keep reviewing the high school curricula so that you are prepared for student teaching. The passing grade for each full exam is a true 80% (i.e., the conversion table applied to the scores of secondary school students will not be applied). You will be allowed 2.5 hours for each exam but may leave as soon as you are finished. You may bring and use a straight-edge, a compass (for the Geometry exam), and a TI-83 or TI-84 graphing calculator; TI-89's or other calculator models are not permitted. The full Regents exams will be given on the following Fridays: November 4, 11, and 18, at 10:00am in PH 004. If you need only one exam, you will take it on November 4. If you need two exams, you will take them on November 4 and 11. If you need 3 exams, you will take them on November 4, 11, and 18. To confirm your RSVP for an exam, reply to this email today with the following information: Your name Name(s) of the exams you need to take (Algebra, Geometry, Algebra 2) Date(s) of your exams I will reply with a confirmation email. If you do not receive a confirmation, please contact me, again. Keep studying!
