Dear Methods Students,

I hope you have all reached the contacts at the schools to arrange for your observations for the Methods course.  Please remember to put your best foot forward this semester.  Schools have agreed to allow you to student teach but are not obligated to do so.  If concerns arise this semester, your placement could be changed or terminated. 

Schools have already contacted me this semester with concerns about how an email from a QC student was written, how a student was dressed, and how a student spoke upon meeting the chairperson.  As Dr. Curcio has often said, this semester (and next) is one long job interview for you.  Speak and dress professionally, be very mindful of your interactions with students, and clean up your social media postings and settings.
