[Mathmethods 0090] Certification Meeting for Math Ed Students

Dear Math Ed Students, I hope you are well and that the Fall 2021 semester has started smoothly for you. As many of you may have questions about certification to teach mathematics, a meeting with members of the QC Certification Office has been arranged for mathematics education students. Amy Lui<mailto:amy.lui@qc.cuny.edu>, Director of Teacher Certification, and Jean Wittig<mailto:jean.wittig@qc.cuny.edu>, Certification Officer & Office Manager, will discuss the process to become certified to teach mathematics in New York State through Queens College. The meeting will be held remotely on Friday, September 10, 2021, at 10:00am. A Zoom link will be sent before the meeting. Please prepare questions about certification beforehand to make the best use of time during the meeting. If you cannot attend the meeting, please note that the presentation files will be shared and the meeting will be recorded via Zoom. However, I would appreciate it if you let me know that you will not attend so I know how many students to expect.
