Dear Methods Students,
The Geometry Regents Quizzes will be returned in class tomorrow. You should have a good idea of how you did on the quiz since all of the questions and answers were available to you beforehand. Please continue to learn the material, especially how to write a proof, before the start of student teaching. If your grade on the quiz is less than 8, please email me tomorrow to schedule a full exam. See below for details.
Please continue studying for the Algebra 2/Trig quiz!

Instructions for scheduling a Regents Exam
If your grade on any of the Regents Quizzes is less than 8, you need to take a full exam. Keep reading for details. If your grade is 8 or higher, this email does not apply to you.
The Algebra exam and the Geometry exam will be given on Friday, November 18, in PH 004, at 1:00pm. If this time conflicts with your ICE hours or observation hours, please let me know when you are available. If possible, please adjust your ICE hours or Methods observation hours for the day.
If you need to take either the Algebra or Geometry exam, please email me immediately to confirm that you will take the exam. Send an email with your name and the name of the exam (Algebra or Geom). An exam will be printed for you only if you reply and then receive a confirmation from me. If you do not receive a confirmation, it means that I did not receive your email so try again.
If you need to take BOTH the Algebra and Geometry exams, schedule the Geometry exam for Friday, November 18, in PH 004, at 1:00pm. Send me your availability for the Algebra quiz in the same email.
You will be allowed three hours for each exam but may leave as soon as you are finished. You may bring and use a graphing calculator; TI-89's are not permitted. You may also bring and use a compass and straight edge for the Geometry exam.
Please continue studying for the Algebra 2/Trig quiz!
Sincerely,
Naomi Weinman
