Dear Math Methods Students,
Attached please find an Excel file with your student teaching placement.
Observations for the Methods course will be completed at the same school. The
first worksheet is arranged by last name of student and indicates your
placement. The second worksheet, labeled "Contacts," indicates the name of the person and contact information for each school. If the contact person indicated a preference for phone or email contact, it is listed. Please contact the person to arrange your observation schedule. Remember to be professional in all communication (email or telephone) and pay attention to grammar and spelling.
Please note that the math chair people are extremely busy with student needs at the start of the semester. You are the least of their concerns so do not be upset if you do not receive a reply immediately. Be politely persistent if necessary. If you send an email and do not receive a timely reply, follow with a phone call and mention that all your contact information is in the email.
