You are invited to attend the annual TIME 2000 conference for high school students and their teachers, Celebrating Mathematics Teaching. This is an exciting math event at which you might learn an interesting way to teach mathematics and make connections with teachers or math chairs. If you would like to attend, please register online via the link below; indicate QC methods as the name of your school. If you usually observe on Fridays, make arrangements to make up the hours at another time.

Dear Methods Students,
If your grade on the Algebra 1 Common Core Quiz is less than 8, you need to take a full exam. Keep reading for details. If your grade was 8 or higher, this email does not apply to you except to remind you to prepare for the upcoming Algebra 2 quiz.
The exam will be given on Friday, November 20, 2015, in PH 004, at 12 noon. You will be allowed three hours for the exam but may leave as soon as you are finished. You may bring and use a straight-edge and a graphing calculator; TI-89's are not permitted.
Please email me immediately to confirm that you will take the exam. Send an email with your name and the name of the exam (Alg 1). An exam will be printed for you only if you reply and then receive a confirmation from me. If you do not receive a confirmation, it means that I did not receive your email so try again.
