Our heartfelt congratulations to the winner of the 2019 Nancy Comley Prize, *Meaghan Dodson*, for her essay, "The Laughter of the Mohicans: A New Linguistic Analysis." The faculty judges for the award had an incredibly difficult time choosing a winner this year, because of the high caliber of all the submissions. We're all so blown away by and proud of the brilliant work our graduate students are doing!
