Dear Graduate Students, A reminder that the submission deadline for our 8th annual QC English Graduate Conference, on the theme of "Catastrophe and Community," is this coming *Monday, March 28*. And encourage your classmates and colleagues to submit too! We want to emphasize that we're really open to a wide range of ideas and formats, not just traditional academic papers/presentations. You'll have until early May to figure out the details, so feel free to dream up and propose something creative or experimental! Or revisit work from a previous semester that you're really proud of! Or give us a preview of a work-in-progress! Use this as an opportunity to share and nerd out about your interests and investments with our community. Building off the success of last year's virtual conference, the CFP invites a wide range of presentations related to this year's theme, in a variety of formats, both in-person and virtual. This is a wonderful opportunity for you to share your work, get support and feedback from our collegial departmental community, and participate in a vital aspect of academic life. Our hope is for a hybrid conference the first week of May, and we plan to announce details in early April, so please stay tuned!
