Dear Graduate Students, A couple reminders re: a very busy next week: *ENGL 791 in Fall 2019* If you're planning to register for ENGL 791 and write your thesis essay in Fall 2019, please join us for a workshop on *Monday, April 29, at 5:30pm*. We'll discuss the logistics and requirements for the thesis essay <http://english.qc.cuny.edu/graduate-programs/ma-in-english/ma-thesis/>, including how to sign up for ENGL 791, writing an effective proposal, finding an advisor and second reader, etc. If you haven't already, please email me ASAP to *RSVP*. Even if you're unable to make it, please let me know so we can chat about the process via email or in person. *MA Conference* A reminder that our 6th annual English Graduate Conference, "THE PURSUIT OF PLEASURE, is next *Wednesday, May 1, from 9:30am-6:30pm*, just across the quad in Remsen Hall 017! Please come support your brilliant peers as they present their work and for Corey McEleney's exciting keynote, “The Art of Overanalyzing,” at 4:30pm.
