[MAEnglish] Grad A Teaching Fellowships (deadline: Jan. 17)
Dear Graduate Students, QC's First Year Writing has begun accepting applications for Grad A teaching fellowships. This is a competitive teaching fellowship in our department, and for the first time it is open to MA students. See info below: The Grad A teaching fellowship is a year-long fellowship with a 2-course per semester teaching assignment. Grad A fellows are called upon to teach a variety of courses in the English Department. Compensation is currently $20,801 (subject to an increase according to the new contract). Graduate students who have the Grad A are not permitted to accept any additional jobs at CUNY during the academic year. The ideal candidate will have a demonstrated history of contributions to the scholarly and pedagogical community of the department. If applying, please submit a letter of interest to FYW@qc.cuny.edu. The letter could include a description of past teaching experiences, current teaching interests and specialties, and a sketch of a dream course. We also ask that you submit a current CV. This position is open to all GC PhD students, Queens College MFA students, and Queens College MA students. The deadline to apply is January 17.
