[MAEnglish] Workshop for students planning to take ENGL 791 next semester
Hi all, We are holding a workshop for students planning to take ENGL 791 and/or write the thesis essay in Spring 2016 on *Wednesday, December 9, 6:30-7:30pm*, in Klapper 610. We'll have wine and snacks while we discuss the logistics and requirements for 791/the thesis essay <http://english.qc.cuny.edu/graduate-programs/ma-in-english/ma-thesis/>, including submitting a sign-up form and getting registered, writing an effective proposal, finding an advisor and second reader, etc. We'll leave plenty of time for your questions and also give you the chance to chat and connect with your peers who'll be going through this process with you. If you plan to take 791 next semester, please email me to RSVP for this workshop and/or make an appointment with me to discuss your individual thesis essay plans. Looking forward to hearing more about your projects! And wishing everyone a wonderful Thanksgiving! Among the many things I'm grateful for is getting to work with all of you. Best, Caroline -- Caroline Kyungah Hong, PhD Assistant Professor of English Director of Graduate Studies (English MA) Queens College, CUNY caroline.hong@qc.cuny.edu
