Dear Graduate Students,

Just a reminder that pre-registration begins next Monday, Nov 3 through Wednesday, Nov 5. Pre-register via email by sending me a message at andrea.walkden@qc.cuny.edu (not at the mailing list address) with your full name, student ID#, and course numbers and codes. Descriptions of all spring 2015 courses and the pre-registration info sheet are attached to this message.

I also want to clarify something that may be causing confusion. ENG 791 (the thesis essay writing course) and ENG 795 (the independent study course) are not courses that are included in pre-registration. Both of these courses require additional “sign-up” paperwork. Neither has a finite number of seats and so there’s no danger of you being closed out of these courses.

If you’re planning to organize an independent study (ENG 795) next semester, please make a separate advising appointment with me.

If you’re planning to write your thesis essay (ENG 791) next semester, there will be an information meeting on Wednesday Nov 19, 6:00-7:15pm. I’ll send out more details of this meeting shortly, but for you now I’d ask you just to mark your calendars.
