Dear Graduate Students, Hope you're all easing gently into the new year and staying safe and healthy, despite the ongoing challenges of the pandemic. If/when there are any updates from CUNY and QC about the coming spring semester, which begins on *January 28*, we'll be sure to pass those along. In the meantime, this is a reminder, if you haven't already, to please register ASAP for your Spring 2022 courses via CUNYfirst <https://www.qc.cuny.edu/StudentLife/services/NewStudent/Documents/Registration%20Instructions%20for%20Students.pdf>. A few courses are already full, but there are still plenty of seats open in ENGL 681, 701, 720, 729, 781-03, and 781-04 (see attached course descriptions). (Note: Courses that are under-enrolled may be canceled by the College administration.) And a final reminder, for anyone planning to take ENGL 791 (thesis essay) or ENGL 795 (independent study) in Spring 2022, the sign-up forms and proposals are due today, *January 5*, by email to MAEnglish@qc.cuny.edu.
