Subject: Student Writers for QC Voices

Dear colleagues,

QC Voices is looking for talented, inventive, and committed student writers to blog for the campus community—on topics of the students’ devising. Students who are selected will earn $500 / semester to blog on a weekly basis. It’s pretty competitive. A lot of students apply. I’d appreciate it if you’d forward the notice below to any strong student writers who may be interested. Both undergraduate and graduate students may apply.

All best,
Jason

QC Voices is now accepting applications for 2015-2016. QC Voices is an evolving experiment that started with a handful of QC students writing about their interests and experiences. Its latest iteration is a thought-provoking site that represents a range of campus communities in some new ways. This past year, our site featured articles about Gaming, Mathematics, Finance, Sci-Fi, and more. Submit a 500-word writing sample and choice of topic for the year to bit.ly/QCVoices15-16. For more information, contact Christopher Vitale of Writing at Queens at cvitale@qc.cuny.edu.
