Dear Graduate Students,

Please find attached a flyer announcing the 2013 Nancy Comley prize for the best essay written by an MA or MS.ED English student. Detailed instructions about what and how to submit are listed there, but if you have any questions, feel free to email me also.

The judges, who are members of the department's MA Program Committee, are looking forward to reading your work. I will be administering the prize but I am not one of the judges and all information you share with me will be treated in confidence.

If you don't know your 8-digit student ID number (sometimes referred to as your CUNYFirst number) please let me know and I'll provide you with it in advance of the submission deadline. It's very important that your name not appear anywhere on your submission.

With all best wishes for a well-earned spring break!
