Dear MA Students,

I hope you all had happy starts to your new year.

I’m writing with a few reminders at the start of the year.  

If you haven’t registered for classes yet, please do so as soon as possible.  A few classes are in danger of being canceled for low enrollments, but, before the Dean makes that decision, it would be good to make sure that everyone who wants to enroll in a class has done so.  If a class that you want to register for is full, contact me to be placed on a wait list for the class.  We plan to start moving people off the waitlist around January 19. 

Finally, if you are planning to take English 791 (the thesis class) next semester, please remember that your thesis approval forms are due to me by Friday, January 5, 2024.  Before you submit them to me, your thesis advisor and reader should have approved your proposal.
