Dear Graduate Students,

Just a reminder about the 791 workshop tomorrow at 6:30pm. There's been a room change: we'll be upstairs in Klapper 708.

If you're planning to write your thesis essay in Fall 2015, please RSVP for the workshop. And if you can't make it tomorrow, please email to make an appointment with me to discuss your plans.

Best,
Caroline

Hi all,

We will be holding a workshop for students planning to take English 791 and/or write their thesis essays in the Fall 2015 semester on Wednesday, May 13, 6:30-7:30pm, in Klapper 708.

We'll have wine and snacks while discussing the logistics and requirements for 791, including submitting your sign-up form/proposal (please see attached) and getting registered, finding an advisor and second reader, etc. We'll also spend some time looking at sample thesis essay proposals and talking about how to write an effective one. And of course we'll leave plenty of time for your questions.

If you're planning to take 791 and/or write your thesis essay in Fall 2015, please email me to RSVP for this workshop and/or to make an appointment with me to discuss your individual thesis essay plans. Looking forward to hearing more about your projects!

Best,
Caroline (and Bill)
