Hello all,

I hope you had a great spring break.

I’m writing with a reminder that, if you are planning on completing your thesis in Fall 2023, there will be an information session about it on Wednesday,  April 19 at 6:30 pm.  

At the information session, we’ll cover:

• How to register for English 791
• How to locate a thesis advisor and second reader
• The timeline for completing the thesis
• Best practices for approaching the thesis, which is the final culminating project for the master’s degree.

We’ll also answer any and all questions you have about the process.

If you plan to attend, please respond to me and I’ll provide you a Zoom link for this virtual meeting. 

If you can’t attend and are planning to do 791 in the fall, please let me know also so that we include in you in future mailings about the thesis.  

As you may know, we’ve had to postpone our conference until the fall semester. If you are interested in presenting your work this spring, CCNY’s graduate program in English is hosting a conference on transgression in May.  Their deadline for proposals is April. I’ve pasted their call for papers below.
