Dear Students: The Registrar reminds you that the deadline for withdrawing from Fall 2012 courses (without the additional step of requesting permission from the Dean of Graduate Studies) is next Friday November 9. To withdraw from a course, log in to CUNYfirst and navigate to: Self Service > Student Center > Other Academic ... drop down menu > Enrollment: Drop. Make sure to follow all steps until you see the "Success" message on your screen. The W grade will be assigned once this process is complete. As always, please make sure you have spoken to a financial aid, and, if need be, an academic advisor to better understand what these choices might mean for your academic record and any financial aid awards, including federal loans. Please also do your instructors the courtesy of letting them know that you have decided to withdraw from their class.
