Dear Graduate Students,
We hope you're continuing to take care as best you can. With everything going on in our world, many of us have been struggling to keep up with school, work, etc. As always (and especially in these last few weeks of the semester), please be kind and gentle with yourselves and don't hesitate to reach out to us if we can support you in any way.
A reminder that our first ever virtual
English Graduate Conference, "The Makeover: Revision, Transformation, Experimentation," is happening this week! Check out the
conference website, where you can see the full
conference schedule/program, the
presenters' bios,
register for the Zoom link for the synchronous event, etc. As of this morning, you can also now view the fabulous
asynchronous presentations, as well as some
faculty reflections on the conference theme of revising and remaking. And we hope to see you all at the synchronous conference event this
Friday, April 30, from 2:00-6:00pm via
Zoom!
And one final reminder that the submission deadline for the Nancy Comley Prize is (actually) TODAY, Monday, April 26. We've reattached here the submission guidelines just in case.
Best,
Caroline and Hillary, Directors of Graduate Studies in English
