Dear Graduate Students,

Many of you have been emailing me to ask about preregistration for summer and fall 2012 classes. Course descriptions for the two summer sessions and for the fall will be up on the department bulletin boards (also on the website and sent via this list serve) the first week in April. Preregistration for these classes will take place Tuesday April 24 and Wednesday April 25. I’ll be sending out more detailed instructions about preregistration closer to the time.  

Also attached to this email is a call for papers (CFP) for a graduate conference at St. John’s University on “Discourses of Power.” It would be great if some of you, perhaps from the same MA class, proposed a panel. I’d be happy to read any panel proposals or individual abstracts that you send to me.
