Pre-registration for summer and fall 2014 master’s level English courses will begin on Tuesday April 1, and continue on Wednesday
April 2 and Thursday April 3. We encourage you to take advantage of this opportunity to sign up early for classes so that you can meet your program’s requirements.
Course descriptions for all
summer and fall 2014 English graduate courses are attached to this message.
Also attached are answers to some common questions about pre-registration that we encourage you to read. If you have questions that are not answered here, don’t hesitate to be in touch with one of
us during the next week. If you have complicated questions about your academic record, you should plan to schedule a separate advising meeting. Depending on how busy things are, we may not be able to offer you detailed advisement during the 3-day pre-registration
period.
This semester, we’re offering you two ways to pre-register:
in person or via email. To pre-register via email, you must be in good academic standing and carrying no incompletes. Emails requests will be processed in the order that they’re received and a confirmation notice, asking you to log into your account
and check the details of your schedule, sent back to you. Please don’t start sending your email pre-registration requests until after 10am on Monday March 31. You’ll need to provide the same information (full name and CUNY ID number; course number and 4- or
5- digit course code) that you would if you were pre-registering in person.
