Our heartfelt congratulations to Elaine Housseas, who is the winner of this year's Nancy Comley Prize with her essay "'What are you blind?...No You Are': Blindness as Queer Vision in Carla Trujillo's What Night Brings."
The faculty judges for the award had an incredibly difficult time choosing a winner this year, because of the tremendous caliber of all the submissions. We should all be so proud of the work everyone is doing in the program!
If you're around tomorrow, Monday, May 4, at 3pm, you're invited to come to the Writing Prizes Ceremony in the Godwin-Ternbach Museum (Klapper, 4th floor) and celebrate Elaine and all the award winners.
Congrats again, Elaine!Best,
Caroline
