Dear Graduate Students,
A reminder that, for those of you planning to register for *ENGL 791* and write your thesis essay next semester, we're having an info session on *Wednesday, Nov. 20, at 6:00pm*, in Klapper Hall 610. We'll go over the thesis-essay process and requirements, including registering for ENGL 791, writing an effective proposal, finding an advisor and second reader, etc. Please *RSVP via email*, if you haven't already, and let us know whether or not you can attend the meeting. If you can't make it, we can get you all the info (including the ENGL 791 Guide and sample proposals) and advise you via email or in person.
Also, rumor has it that the 2020 Graduate Conference Committee has chosen a theme for our next MA conference: MOVE! (migration, emotion, gesture, mobilization)! So exciting! It's not too late to join the committee if you're interested in helping to organize the conference--just email Bill at worchard@qc.cuny.edu. And look out for the CFP coming out in the near future!
Finally, please find attached a flyer for this semester's final MFA event on Dec. 2 with Tracie Morris and Nicole Sealey.
Stay warm and take care!
