Dear Graduate Students,
Hope everyone enjoyed (and is still enjoying) their long weekend!
I just sent an email out re: workshops for students writing their culminating thesis essays this semester. If you are currently registered in or completing an INC for ENGL 791 and did not receive this email, please let me know. Our first workshop will be held next Wednesday, February 25, at 6:30pm, in Klapper 710.
Also, please note that I need to reschedule my office hours on March 19. That week I will instead hold office hours on Tuesday, March 17, from 3:30-6:30pm. I'll send out a reminder before, but keep in mind that you can always email with questions or to make an appointment if you can't make my office hours.
Finally, I wanted to pass along a couple announcements/opportunities:
If you're a K-12 educator, please consider applying for the fantastic NEH summer seminar on "Asian Americans in New York City: Literature and Film." The directors are fabulous and it promises to be a wonderful seminar. Plus, it's funded, which means you get a stipend for participating! Get more info and apply at

Best,
Caroline
