Dear Graduate Students,
I’m wrapping up my term as DGS today, so this will be my final email to the MA listserv!
I started as Assistant DGS way back in 2012 and then stepped in as DGS in 2015. For the past decade, it’s truly been a pleasure and privilege to work with our fantastic MA students and to help grow and improve our graduate program. But it’s time to move on, and I’m thrilled to pass the baton to my wonderful colleagues, Prof. Bill Orchard and Prof. Hillary Miller, who are CC-ed here. If you don’t already know them, please get to know them! They are the absolute best, and you should never hesitate to reach out to them for advising and support. (And I’m of course not going anywhere and always happy to continue to support you in a less official capacity, as a regular ol’ faculty member.)
Bill will be in touch soon with announcements about the upcoming semester, which starts next Thursday, August 25. Looking forward to running into you in the halls of Klapper or on Zoom or maybe having you in an MA class someday soon. In the meantime, please continue taking care and being kind and gentle with yourselves and each other!
Best,
Caroline
