[MAEnglish] Reminders re: thesis essay workshop tomorrow + office hours

Hi all, A reminder that, if you're planning to take ENGL 791 and/or write your thesis essay in Fall 2016, we are having a workshop tomorrow, *Wednesday, May 11, at 6:30pm*, in the lounge upstairs, Klapper 710. Please email me if you plan to take ENGL 791 in the fall, even if you can't make the workshop. So far only a few students have RSVPed. Also, as the spring semester winds down, please note that I only have regular office hours tomorrow, Wednesday, May 11, and next Wednesday, May 18, from 3-6pm. After that and during the summer, I will have limited availability for advisement by appointment. If you have any questions or need advising, please don't hesitate to email. [MAEnglish] Workshop for students planning to take ENGL 791 next semester

Hi everyone, This is a reminder that, if you're planning to take ENGL 791 and/or write your thesis essay in Fall 2016, we are having a workshop on *Wednesday, May 11, at 6:30pm*, in the lounge upstairs, Klapper 710. Over wine and snacks, we'll discuss the logistics and requirements for 791/the thesis essay <http://english.qc.cuny.edu/graduate-programs/ma-in-english/ma-thesis/>, including how to sign up for ENGL 791, writing an effective proposal, finding an advisor and second reader, etc. We'll leave plenty of time for your questions and also give you the chance to chat and connect with your peers who'll be going through this process with you. If you plan to take 791 next semester, please email me to RSVP for this workshop and/or make an appointment with me to discuss your individual thesis essay plans.
