Subject: research aide?
Hi everyone,
I’m interested in hiring a research aid to help me with a couple of
upcoming projects. One is a qualitative project on multilingual learners in
FYW and the other is a historical project on mass literacy in the U.S.
during the mid-twentieth century. Right now I’m working on IRB approval for
the former and archival research for the latter. Experience or interest in
either of the two areas would be helpful. I’d love to hire someone whose
scholarship will benefit from working with me. An added bonus would be
someone who can help me organize the research, especially if the person has
experience using technology to help with that process.
The compensation is $20/hr and the person will be paid for 10 hours a week.
I’m hoping to hire someone for the semester with the possibility of
extending the job into the summer.
If you’re interested, please send me a short letter of interest and your CV
by February 9. I’m happy to answer any questions.
Best,
Amy Wan
