[History undergraduates] FW: Announcing student internship opportunity at the Smithsonian
Dear Students, Please see below for an exciting—paid!—internship in Washington, DC. Best, Prof. Celello Wiki Education works closely with the Smithsonian's Wikipedian in Residence, and she asked us to pass this paid summer internship opportunity on to relevant classes. It's for a summer internship at the Smithsonian's American Women's History Initiative and focuses on uncovering notable women in anthropology from the Smithsonian's archives and working with her to get them on Wikipedia. The intern will also help run an edit-a-thon at the Natural History Museum. The deadline is March 15. It's open to undergraduates only, and applicants must be U.S. citizens. Housing is included. Please distribute to any students who you think this would be a good fit for. It's #6 in the Project Descriptions PDF linked here<https://womenshistory.si.edu/news/2020/02/paid-summer-internship-application-now-open>. Thank you.
