Dear History students, If you attended Prof. Elisheva Carlebach's lecture in November and would like to submit an essay about it in competition for one of the $250 prizes, remember that the deadline is Tuesday, Dec 13. The essay should be around 6-8 pages and, using Prof. Carlebach's stalk as a starting point, should be about the depiction of marginalized groups. While Prof. Carlebach spoke about the depiction of Jews in print in early modern Europe, your paper may concerns depictions of any group, in any media, in any society, in any time period.
