[History undergraduates] Spring internships -- October is the time to start looking!
Dear students, October is almost here, and it's time to start thinking about your next round of applications for internships if you're hoping to get one for next Spring. The History department maintains an updated list <http://www.qc.cuny.edu/Academics/Degrees/DSS/History/Opportunities-for-Students/Pages/Internships.aspx>of institutions offering internships to undergraduate and graduate students. Check it out -- we've added a few listings since last year! Some of these internships are paid. *Most deadlines for Spring are at the end of October or in early November.* I encourage you to apply. Internships are key to build your resume during college and as you approach the job market. History-related internship will help you as you pursue a career in education, museum work, public service, and many other fields. Remember that college credit can be arranged through HIST387: Internship in History. If you get an internship, don't forget to let me know!
