[History undergraduates] Summer Internships -History 387 and the Queens Historical Society
Dear History Majors- Good morning. I am writing as Director of Internships for the History Department with another local internship opportunity. The Queens Historical Society is looking for 2 summer interns. Information is available in the attached call for applications. As a reminder, history students can earn credit for internships: https://www.queenscollegehistory.org/opportunities The History department offers HIST387, "Internship in History." This course enables history majors to earn a maximum of three credit hours for a faculty-supervised internship directly related to history or the collection and preservation of historical materials. The course combines practical work with supervised, independent academic study. I encourage anyone interested in applying to consider earning credit by registering for HIST 387. Please email me if you are interested in earning credits for either this or another internship. I am happy to talk more about internship opportunities.
