Dear History majors, The Department is now offering a joint BA and MA degree program in History.  A flyer about it is attached. Upper sophomores and juniors who are majoring in History and have a GPA of 3.3 or higher in the major are eligible to apply.  If accepted, you can enroll in up to three courses at the 700-level, yet pay undergraduate tuition, and have these 9 credits count toward both the BA and the MA degrees.  This means that you could advance through the MA program faster -- the MA is 30 credits, so if you have the nine credits from the BA/MA program, then you'd need only 21 additional credits to finish.
