We would be very grateful if you could circulate information to undergraduate and graduate students looking for paid internship opportunities. For details and a link to the application form, please click here<https://t.e2ma.net/click/iih0nb/2p85iq/yamrfn>. The application deadline is April 2, 2018. The following information may help you to identify students who would be most interested in this unique experience. Who are Holocaust Educator Interns? * Students who are studying in the New York metropolitan area, are currently enrolled as undergraduate or graduate students in accredited degree programs, and will continue to be enrolled in fall 2018. * Students who have a desire to learn and teach about the Holocaust. * Students who have a desire to work with teenagers in a classroom and museum setting and gain hands-on teaching experience. * Students who are flexible, willing to travel locally, and are able to work well both independently and in a highly collaborative environment. * Students from any background or area of study are encouraged to apply. No previous teaching or Holocaust study is required, although both of these are desirable. What makes this internship unique? * This is a paid internship and local travel expenses are reimbursed. Interns may choose to work for school credit rather than pay. * The internship takes place during the school year, with training during the second half of August. The deadline to apply for the fall 2018 semester is April 2, 2018. * Students will work in both the Museum and metropolitan-area public schools.
