[History undergraduates] Spring Internships at Senator Schumer's office
Dear History majors, The Long Island office of Senator Schumer is looking for interns for the Spring 2015 semester. This is a great opportunity for those of you interested in pursuing a career in public service and government. Please see below for instructions on how to apply. Best, Prof. Bregoli -- This internship program offers insightful hands-on experience in the operation of a Senate regional office. Intern responsibilities typically include: researching regional issues, assisting in constituent service, preparing press clips, scanning local media outlets, assisting at press conferences, and coordinating event logistics. We are seeking current students or recent graduates from any course of study with an enthusiasm for government and politics. This internship is unpaid, but we work with students if the school offers course credit.
