Dear Students, You'll see the flyers around campus, but I wanted to announce here also that Ambassador Loucas Tsilas will be speaking on Wednesday, Nov 12, 12:15-1:30, about the fall of apartheid in South Africa in the 1980s. Prof. Tsilas, who is also teaching Hist 392W in our department, was the Greek ambassador to South Africa in the 1980s, and worked directly with Nelson Mandela and other leaders as apartheid was overturned.
