To all History majors: If you are interested in joining Phi Alpha Theta, the national History honor society, and would like to be inducted this spring, please submit your application as soon as possible. (Applications are available on the large table just outside the History Department office.) If you have submitted an application but not your membership fee, likewise please do so as soon as possible. You cannot be inducted without paying the membership fee. If I do not receive your membership fee by March 31, I cannot guarantee that you will be inducted this spring. The requirements for membership are: 12 credits (4 history courses) at Queens College, having received no grade lower than a B-, and at least one grade of A- or above. You may drop off your application at the Phi Alpha Theta mailbox in the History Department mailroom or in my mailbox. Please let me know if you have any questions.
