[History undergraduates] HIST 387 and Internship Opportunities
Dear History Majors: As you plan your spring semester, I would like to? draw your attention to History 387, "Internships in History." The department offers this course as an independent study. Students can enroll to earn credits while interning in a history-related field. This course requires some advanced planning-we request that students try and start the process at least a semester in advance. If you are interested in both the course and an internship in an upcoming semester, I encourage you to review the course information available on the Department's website<http://www.qc.cuny.edu/Academics/Degrees/DSS/History/Opportunities-for-Students/Pages/Internships.aspx>, which includes a number of potential organizations that meet the course criteria. I also want to draw your attention to the additional opportunities listed below, which include Professor Wintermute's upcoming public history/oral history course and newly advertised internship opportunities.
