Dear CUNY Community,
On November 16th, 2014, TEDxCUNY will gather students for a day of idea sharing and thought-provoking discussion at Macaulay Honors College's Central building at 35 W. 67th St (Manhattan). TEDxCUNY will be the first public university TEDx conference in New York City, and the TEDx university conference representing the highest number of students in the country. This November, nearly a year and a half of hard work will come to fruition. We’re very excited to share CUNY’s varied and brilliant ideas with the world. If you're unfamiliar with TED, TEDx, or the TED talk format, please visit http://www.ted.com/about/our-organization for more information.
To introduce students, faculty, staff, alumni, and other interested parties to TEDxCUNY, we're hosting three upcoming info/team sign-up sessions at Macaulay Honors College. For students interested in speaking at TEDxCUNY, auditions for our Student Speaker Competition will also be held during these sessions on a first-come, first-served basis.
The sessions will occur on September 23rd, September
29th, and September 30th. On each day there will be opportunities to meet other passionate TEDxers, meet team leaders, "pitch us your talk," and hear more about TEDxCUNY.
