During Summer Session II, come learn about Nineteenth Century Europe in History 218, with Dr. Steve Haller. This course will navigate discussions on the Industrial Revolution, liberalism vs. conservatism, the revolutions that developed modern states, and the ways Europe changed and were changed by the places they encountered during imperialism. We will study Europe's "Long Nineteenth Century," and how it has shaped our contemporary world.
