On Thursday Feb 17th from 5-7 P.M. in the Rosenthal Library Auditorium, Rm 230, Julian Bond will be speaking on the Legacy of James Foreman.  Julian Bond is and James Foreman was an icon of the Civil Rights Movement of the 1960s.  Both were founders of the Student Nonviolent Coordinating Committee (SNCC) that was on the cutting edge of the voter registration drives and other civil rights struggles in the deep South.  It is a unique opportunity for undergraduate and graduate students to hear someone who shaped our history talk of another who played an important role in nthat shaping.
