Dear History majors,
MOFAD -- the Museum of Food and Drink -- is looking for interns for Summer 2017. You don't need to have previous experience working in a museum, and there are openings in education, marketing, event planning, and development.
The deadline is Monday May 8 (I've just received this notice so they may be a little flexible). If you are interested, please apply asap!
As always, you can receive college credit through the History department if you are accepted as an intern. Be in touch with me for more information.
All the best,
Prof. Bregoli
- Application deadline: Please apply by Monday, May 8
- Commitment: 3 to 4 months with flexible hours, generally between 8 and 20 hours per week
- Start date: As soon as possible
- Compensation: These positions are unpaid internships. Interns at MOFAD have access to educational opportunities, awesome parties, shared food and drink, and plenty of treats!
We’re a small team, so everybody helps out with administrative duties - from walking to the post office, to data entry, to helping set up the event space. Your role at MOFAD will largely depend on your strengths, passions, and what needs to be done on a given day.
Please send the following to jobs@mofad.org in a single PDF document:
- Cover letter,
- Resume,
- 1-2 writing samples of no more than 2 pages each in length
Indicate your area(s) of interest in both your cover letter and the subject line of the email. For example, “Last Name, Education” or “Last Name, Development.”
