Dear History majors, This is a final reminder about the upcoming Phi Alpha Theta Upper New York regional conference. The deadline to submit your abstract is this Friday. Phi Alpha Theta is organizing its *Upper New York Regional conference, which will take place on Saturday April 30, 2016 at SUNY Plattsburgh*. This is a great opportunity to present a paper in a collegial, supportive environment -- if you are interested in applying for History PhDs this could be a great line on your CV. Paper proposals are due by *FRIDAY March 4 *and should be sent to the *organizers, Jessamyn Neuhaus and Connie Shemo* (emails below). Proposals should include the presenter’s contact information and an abstract (250 word max) summarizing the argument and sources consulted. The conference registration fee will be $10.00 and registration includes a continental breakfast and lunch on Saturday. The call for papers is below.
