Another exciting course, and a timely one given developments in geopolitics, is Prof. Vincent Carey's new course, Hist 302 (39313). This comes up as European Intellectual History on CUNYfirst, but what it REALLY is (what Prof. Carey is going to focus on is) the history of the concept of human rights.

You may remember that I announced last year that Prof. Carey, who has won top teaching awards from SUNY, will be a Visiting Professor for this year at Queens College. He's a renowned expert in the field of human rights, so this is an excellent and unique opportunity for us.
