The program in Irish Studies, led by Prof. Covington, is co-sponsoring a public lecture this week that should be of interest to many of you: "Women, War, and Violence in Early Modern Ireland," by Valerie McGowan-Doyle. Sounds fascinating.

It will take place this Wednesday, 12:15-1:30, in the President's Conference Room #1, which is on the 5th floor of the library by the clocktower.
