A panel discussion featuring:
Jen Hoyer and Charlie Morgan (Interference Archive) and Jason Andrew (Estates of Jack Tworkov, Janice Biala, and Elizabeth Murray)
Please join us for a panel discussion of archives and collections with Jen Hoyer and Charlie Morgan of Interference Archive, a collectively run archive of social movement ephemera, and Jason Andrew estate manager, curator and archivist for the Estates of artists Jack Tworkov, Janice Biala and Elizabeth Murray.
The mission of Interference Archive, an all-volunteer organization, is to explore the relationship between cultural production and social movements. This work manifests in an open stacks archival collection, publications, a study center, and public programs, all of which encourage critical and creative engagement with the rich history of social movements. Jason Andrew is an independent scholar, curator, and producer. Mr. Andrew is currently the manager and curator of the estates of artists Jack Tworkov, Janice Biala, and Elizabeth Murray. A prominent figure in the Bushwick, Brooklyn art scene, Mr. Andrew is the co-founder and director of Norte Maar, a non-profit that encourages, promotes, and presents collaborative projects in the arts.
All museum events are free and open to the public.
